Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate Program - San Diego

Offered in San Diego for graduate students and behavioral health professionals, this certificate program was designed to meet the academic and experience requirements established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board for those seeking certification in applied behavior analysis.

We offer a five course series in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® (BACB) has approved this course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA) Examination. Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify.

We also offer a 1500 hour supervised practicum to meet the experience requirements set forth by the BACB to become board certified (BCBA). The practicum consists of hands-on applied behavior analysis with children who have developmental disabilities, primarily autism. All practicum hours will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Students will be supervised by a BCBA each week. Case issues and intervention strategies will be discussed.
