Bachelor's of Science - Business Administration
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration prepares students for a wide variety of careers and for advanced study. The curriculum provides a solid foundation of fundamental business principles with courses that emphasize:
- An understanding of business, management, information systems and technology and the overall dynamics of organizations
- Critical thinking skills
- Interpersonal, oral, written, quantitative and computer skills.

Like all the programs in Alliant’s School of Management, the B.S. in Business Administration
places a strong emphasis on practical application of knowledge. You will have the opportunity
to gain extensive hands-on experience by doing an internship in the industry, thereby
remaining current with the latest developments in your field.

Also in keeping with School of Management standards, the curriculum is designed to
be responsive to the new needs of the new global marketplace. You will learn about
a broad range of situations in business and management in preparation for a career
in international and multicultural environments.
EARN YOUR MBA IN ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR
All undergraduate students take several courses that directly transfer into School of Management’s MBA program. You may be able to take advantage of our BA+1 program, which lets you complete your MBA in one additional year after your bachelor’s degree, saving time and cutting tuition costs.
